Additional Information on the Racine Program

This evidence-based fitness program is designed to empower people with Parkinson’s disease. Mobility training such as treadmill has demonstrated
change over time. Mobility training is coordinated with strength training, and stretching exercises to help clients with Parkinson’s disease maintain mobility, improve balance, decrease risk of falls, minimize fatigue, and improve self-confidence and independence.

This program is not all work and no play. We have fun--including celebrating  birthdays. Participants should undergo an evaluation by a physical therapist to determine if this program right for them.
